  • Although the name of dangerous goods is dangerous, it is not prohibited goods that cannot be exported.

Dangerous goods are divided into 9 categories, of which the first category is the most dangerous.

One is explosives, fireworks, bombs and so on.

The second category is gas, whether flammable or not, which belongs to the second category.

The third category is flammable liquid. Usually, nail polish, cosmetics, facial washes and the like used for cosmetics all contain alcohol, which belongs to flammable liquid. Of course, paints, coatings and the like also belong to this category.

The fourth category is flammable solid, such as table tennis, magnesium and other dangerous goods.

The fifth category is oxides, of which category 5.2 is the most violent and explosive in water, category 5.2 is basically not accessible to ships, and category 5.1 has a considerable number of accessible, but it still depends on UN and product name.

The six categories are toxic, including pesticides and toxic ones. If they are highly toxic, they need to apply for a road pass and a poison certificate before shipment.

The seven categories are radioactive substances, which can't be done in general. Unless they are reported to the provincial government for approval, this is generally a national project.

The eight categories are acid and alkali, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda, which are also included in this category.

In addition to the above eight categories, the nine categories are more dangerous than ordinary goods and are all classified into nine categories.

Among them, it is the easiest and easiest to transport dangerous goods in Shanghai. The documents are complete and the shipping company does not refuse to accept them.

Shanghai can take LCL and FCL of dangerous goods. Even if the category is different, Qingdao Port can take LCL of dangerous goods, but the category must be the same. I don't know how long it will take to put together a cabinet.

Generally, Class 3, 4.1, 6, 8 and 9 can be packed with dangerous goods. 3, 6, 8, 9 can be mixed, 4.1 can only be mixed with 9 types, and if there are acids and alkalis between 8 types, they cannot be mixed together.

Category 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 can carry the whole container of dangerous goods. But it also depends on the specific UN and product name.

Generally speaking, MSK, WANHAI, KLINE, HMM, CMA, SITC, RCL, etc. are capable of receiving dangerous goods. Among them, CMA and MSK are high-end ships with higher prices, but they are relatively able to handle them. Other ships are economical and practical ships with low prices. Not very special dangerous goods can also be handled.

If you encounter dangerous goods by sea in the future, you can not worry. First confirm with the shipping company whether you can pick them up or mix them up. It is not difficult to transport dangerous goods by sea. If you encounter dangerous goods, you can confirm with your freight forwarder first, and there will be no problem.
